Info:
This weapon is commonly called an M4 or M-4. This weapon has a high rate of fire, with moderate damage and (on fully automatic) low to moderate accuracy. However, just like the LR300, in controled bursts this weapon is very accurate. There has been an on-going debate between the LR300 and the M4 as to which weapon is "better" in the Urban Terror community for some time. According to the programers they are identical except the graphic model and sounds used. Although many players to report that the weapons "feel" different. This is not ussually a first time players weapon of choice as it takes some skill to master controling bursts and aiming, however is a very deadly machine in the right hands.
Accuracy: (Updated Numbers 14 Sept 2009)
I have now fired and counted over 720 rounds out of this weapon and collected the data for what you see. This should be slightly more acurate that previous postings.
This weapons accuracy ranges from 67-74%. The first 3-5 shots fired are nicely grouped, but beyond that you rapidly lose accuracy. To see how the accuracy was calculated please click here.
