Urban Terror 4.1
Ultimate Guide to Configuration and Scripting
by TaggedZi
This guide is an attempt to collect all the variables and commands that are controllable in the First Person Shooter (FPS) video game Urban Terror 4.1. This game is based on the ioquake3 engine by ID, so many of the variables cross over. But as I have discovered MANY of the variables do not crossover, and there are many new one's added. I scoured the web, the ioquake source, and the Urban Terror Console it self to compile a list of things that are controllable via the console or configuration scripts. Here is the result of that effort. Initially I compiled it as a single PDF for distribution, but have since decided to build this Website. So if you have my old PDF guide please realize there have been a LOT of additions, corrections and re-writes since then.
The goal in writing this was simply to get all the commands and variables together in a single location for Urban Terror and catalog them as best as someone not on the programing staff can.

How to use this manual:
The first 8 rounds explain how to work with various features of configuration and scripting. The Appendixes contain a full blown command and settings reference.
I found an ERROR!
Congratulations. You can do several things, but what I hope you'll do is send me is the following: (to matt[at]taggedzi{dot}com)
- What is the error? Did I omit code(s) or variable(s)? Is it a spelling error? Tell me as best as you can what you found.
- What round is the problem in?
- What you think should be there (or not) to fix the problem?
- What is your source of information?
I know it sounds like a lot but I want to have accurate and legitimate information. As this has been taken from literally hundreds of sources online, it is hard to validate it all.
